Former newsman, documentary film producer/director/writer; two film scripts and a TV sitcom to my credit; also, wrote suppository copy (that's the stuff you write that's really a pain in the a.., but you have to pay the bills) for large corporations.

Recently given the opportunity to write full time and have one book in the first draft stage. I've found forums like this one are invaluable in supplying ideas, information and inspiration.
