The best way to maximize your profit sharing is to have more internet traffic flowing to your threads and posts.
Here are several ways to do this and get the most from your posts: Content is King Provide quality posts that bring traffic in from Google searches. If you're providing a wealth of information, downloads, and freebies, you will naturally pull more traffic than other posters. Optimize Your Posts Use relevant keywords in the subject line (title) of your posts and fill out the keywords at the bottom. Bookmark your best posts and posts made by other members that you would like to view later (a bookmarking tool with 41 different services is included in the Writefine Toolbar). If you find a great post by someone on your buddy list, bookmark it and they might return the favor. Bookmarking can really step up your profits here because, for every bookmark (high PR backlink) you add, you're bumping your keywords up in Google search results. *If you lay the groundwork by Digging a post, it's a simple-click for visitors to add extra Diggs. Use the same keywords for Del.icio.us that were attached to the post. This will supercharge your keywords. Every Del.icio.us bookmark after this will add extra weight to those keywords. Provide a Resource If your thread contains a wealth of information, a moderator may decide to "sticky" your post. This highlights your thread and filters it to the top of the list in the forum. Dress Up Your Posts Use images and videos to make your posts more attractive (click the icon in the editor to add an image url. If you'd like to add a YouTube video, simply paste the full url to the video in the editor).More Lines in the Water Use your AdSense account at your site or blog (multiple profit streams). Take advantage of your signature area to promote links to your site, blog, products, or service. Blog about your thread in the Writefine Forums and post a link to it with anchor text. I went ahead and optimized a thread about the Writefine Toolbar. Check it out to see what I'm talking about. I've added a decent amount of keywords (even using the specific forum and subforum name), Dugg it (using the same keywords), added to del.icio.us, stumbled, rated to 5-stars, and stickied. Now here's an in-bound link: http://www.writefine.com/forum/showt...hp?p=26#post26 If you have any questions or ideas, just let me know. I'm here to help. |

I wanted to add this feature initially but after browsing through several seo url mods, there seemed to be too many bug reports. Other top-rank forums aren't using url enhancements, so I don't see a big problem with this. Do you know of one that works well?

Not off hand, i think it is really depending on the forum software chosen - it was just a thought -
